Collaboration song “Snow in Osaka” by Taiwanese duo Our Shame x ASOBOiSM MV released

The music video for Taiwanese duo Our Shame’s latest single “Snow in Osaka feat. ASOBOiSM” released in September has been released.

Our Shame is a duo consisting of Estelle H, a guitar/vocal/producer with deep knowledge of electronic music, and Isan, a percussionist. They released their first album “Modern Problem” in 2022, and are attracting attention not only in Taiwan but also around the world with their mellow ambient songs that weave together electro and acoustic guitar based on the essence of synthwave.

This work is a collaboration song with Japanese SSW/rapper ASOBOiSM. It was born in the wake of the circuit event “MINAMI WHEEL” held in Osaka in 2023, and was produced by two groups who strengthened their friendship at the event. The mix was handled by Jay Reynolds, who also mixes songs by Dua Lipa and others. Additionally, on the day of the release of this work, both artists held a live performance in Taiwan, which ended with great success.

The MV is a work that exudes a sense of ephemerality, capturing the time between a man and a woman who meet at a club, until dawn. “I created this song with the theme of the warmth of a coat.Giving and returning a coat (in the music video) is an act of passing on warmth to others,” as he says, it stands out because the theme is snow. The result is a work that focuses on warmth.

It is also said that Our Shame will release their first album in three years in the second half of next year. I would like to pay attention to future trends.
