aint lindy releases new song “Funny” First planned event “Coin Toss” will be held this weekend

aint lindy released their new single “Funny” today, January 8th (Wednesday).

aint lindy is a solo project by Rin, who is also known as the guitarist of Billyrrom. So far, he has been active across borders, releasing collaborations and remixes with Taiwanese rapper/singer Momoko A1J, Thai band quicksand bed, London-based edbl, and Pastel.

This work, which will be the first release in 2025, is an indie pop song that mixes aint lindy’s vocals and rap with a melancholy track. He commented, “I wrote about my grandfather and grandmother.”

Furthermore, on January 12th (Sunday), aint lindy’s first self-planned event “Coin Toss” will be held at WALL&WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo. Shin Sakiura and SPENSR will appear as guests. Tickets are currently on sale.

I wrote about my grandfather and grandmother. The wonder and wonder of not having a reason for being together still feels close to me yet far away, but I have translated what I feel closer to the song and sound than ever before.
