It has been announced that aimi will release her new single “The Bdst.” on January 22nd (Wednesday).
This work is the lead single from the 4th EP “Empower.Embrace” scheduled to be released on February 5th (Wednesday). Following the release of “Sippin’ Sake” in October, Modesty Beats is in charge of producing, and Yui Mugino participates as songwriter and vocal producer. The song is about the determination to move forward without being influenced by other people’s opinions, and is said to be an R&B-soul anthem that stands out with emotional and powerful vocals.
“Empower.Embrace”, the first EP release in about three years, uses the keywords “Empower” and “Embrace” to create a song where you can embrace and accept your imperfect self while feeling empowered. The work is said to contain a message of hope. A pre-release tour for the same work will be held starting tomorrow, visiting three locations: Kyoto, Nagoya, and Aomori. As the tour finale, the first solo performance of their career is scheduled for February 21st (Friday) at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo.

For this work, I created a song that I would like to listen to when I want to feel power and courage, or when I want to feel hope. As the title “Empower.Embrace” suggests, both the sound and the message are powerful, making it our most energetic work to date.
“The Bdst.” is a song about the determination to cherish one’s own journey and move forward without being influenced by other people’s opinions. I will continue to aim for the top with my friends and listeners around me.
We will be holding a pre-release tour this month, and our first one-man performance will be held on February 21st, so we would be happy if you could come and visit each venue. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all!
