safmusic releases new EP “Verse1” from “Niwa niwa”, which he presides over

safmusic released their new EP “Verse1” today, January 14th (Tuesday).

Producer/SSW, safmusic who advocates alternative and builds his own worldview. He is also attracting attention for his participation in the unit Yosano with his ally Morito Asai and the AVYSS label’s compilation work “ie”.

Media/platforms that you ownThis work, which will be released from , is a work with “meditation” as one of its themes. Contains six songs that were produced at different times, ranging from songs created several years ago to songs completed at the end of last year. It crosses over genres, and the work crosses over elements such as house, ambient, shoegaze, and granular from the guitar-centered sound of the past.

It also includes the co-composed song “(null)” with Number Collector, whose music video was suddenly released at the end of last year.

First of all, I would like to thank my friends who gave me hints while making this work. All of the songs were created at my home in Yokohama. Every morning, my routine is to buy coffee at a convenience store and go to a nearby park. The time I spend there thinking alone is my own form of meditation. The artwork for this time is also a park near Minato Mirai, where I often went running during the production period. “Verse 1” is not meant to be listened to by anyone, but rather a very personal seasonal reflection, meditation, and soliloquy, so I’d like you to listen to it while taking a walk.
