It has been announced that 4s4ki will release a collaborative EP “44th Dimension” with LA-born producer/DJ YULTRON on Wednesday, January 29th.
In October of last year, we released the collaborative EP “Collective Obsession” co-written with domestic “friends” such as DÉ DÉ MOUSE and rinahamu, and in December of the same year, we released the EP “Jaiai Equal Jiai”, which was created with all songs self-produced. 4s4ki released. YULTRON, with whom we collaborated this time, was in charge of the track arrangement for the song “space coaster” released by 4s4ki in 2021, and this is their first collaboration in three years. It is said that it contains four songs that can be called the latest type of hyper pop, created with the concept of “forming a unit that crosses national borders.”
Prior to the release, a live teaser video featuring new songs from the EP was also released.
The artwork was created by Ryushin, an illustrator with nearly 50,000 followers on SNS, and tovgo, an up-and-coming creator who was in charge of the CG design for the previous work “Charity Equal Jiai”. In addition to 4s4ki and YULTRON in the 44th dimension, the design represents a team of 2 people + 1 cat, 4s4ki born for this unit, and the supernatural cat character “2RIMELIAN” who connects the world.
Furthermore, following the release announcement of this work, the key visual for the nationwide tour starting in February was also released. As a symbol of this tour, which is the culmination of 4s4ki’s four years of work, this visual is a condensed collection of live photos taken on stage so far.
