DURDN will release 2-song single “idealistic”

It has been announced that DURDN will release their new single “idealistic” on January 29th (Wednesday).

The final performance of the band’s biggest tour in its history, “DURDN Live Tour 2024-2025 GET ON THE BOAT,” which started in November last year and toured five cities nationwide, will be held today, January 17th (Friday) at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo. DURDN was held.

This album includes two songs, the title track “idealistic” and “Hearth Place”. “Idealistic” is a melancholic track based on Afrobeats, and is said to be a song that rhythmically and beautifully depicts the emotional conflict faced by the “idealistic” protagonist who is not satisfied with the status quo. “Hearth Place” is a lyrical song that uses a simple track featuring piano and an irregular beat to depict the feeling of loneliness that makes you feel like an empty shell, thinking about the warmth of being with someone you will never see again. That’s what he said.

Additionally, these two songs have already been performed during this tour, leaving a particularly melancholic and memorable scene in the danceable set list arranged in a live-like manner. It can be said that this release raises expectations for the new chapter of DURDN that is about to begin.
