Chameleon Lime Whoopie Pie announces release of 2nd album “Whoop It Up”

It has been announced that Chameleon Lime Whoopie Pie will release their second album “Whoop It Up” on Friday, April 25th.

This album is said to be a work based on the concept of “Make noise across time and space! From the 90s to the present day, cross the ocean and mix it up! An album that excites the hearts of all mankind.” The tracklist will be announced at a later date. Advance reservations for distribution have also started prior to release.

In addition, it is the latest single released on Wednesday, January 8th, and the TV Tokyo drama premiere 23“Revenge of the Zaibatsu ~To my ex-wife who became my brother’s wife~”The music video for “Secret March”, which has become a hot topic as the ending theme for the series, has also been released. The piece depicts Chi singing in a pure white space, with a key attached to him, and living with a secret. This time too, the members themselves handled everything from filming to editing.

Furthermore, it was announced that their first independently planned event, “Chameleon Lime Whoopie Pie presents “BANANA” vol.1, will be held in Tokyo and Osaka in March. Based on the concept of “an event that brings together artists who love Chameleon, Lime, and Whoopie Pie more than bananas,” each event will feature two special guests. In the first round of announcements, it was announced that Mega Shinnosuke would appear as a guest for the Tokyo performance, and that rapper/designer TakeM, who belongs to Umeda Cypher, would appear as a guest for the Osaka performance. Expectations are high for the announcement of further guest artists.
