Kan Sano released his 4-track single “Kami no Melody” today, January 22nd (Wednesday).
The title song “Kami no Melody” was released early in Kan Sano’s career. This is a solo piano number included in the “Piano Works Collection” that was sold only at live venues, and this work includes the currently released works.“Theatrical film: The Gourmet of Solitude”Contains a new version recorded for the ending theme.
In addition, “Forest Dweller,” “Rain to Ecstasy,” and “Prelude,” which are also included in the “Piano Works Collection,” are also included as insert songs in the movie.
Upon the release of this film, comments from Kan Sano himself as well as Yutaka Matsushige, who is the director, screenwriter, and star of “Geki Eiga Kodoku no Gourmet” have also arrived.

We will release the ending song “Kami no Melody” for “The Movie: Solitary Gourmet.”
The first time I met Yutaka Matsushige was in 2014. I worked with him on a play, and I gave him a CD of my self-produced album “Piano Works Collection” during the Chiakiraku performance. Some of the piano songs heard in “Kodoku no Gourmet”, including “Kami no Melody”, were originally included in this album. I never imagined a future where the songs I composed 10 years ago (I remember composing them in 2012) would be played in movie theaters.
It was my first experience re-recording and re-arranging a song that I made over 10 years ago, but it was a lot of fun. When you listen to this reconstructed version of “God’s Melody,” the ending credits of “The Solitary Gourmet” will play in your mind, and various scenes from the play will come back to life. I’m happy to be a part of Matsushige’s work.

That TV Tokyo late-night drama that everyone probably knows,
I heard rumors that it was going to be made into a movie.
There’s no way it would make a proper movie.
It’s a really funny project.
I was prepared for this to happen when I approached this film adaptation.
I really wanted Kan Sano to participate in order to overturn that.
And in that sense,

I couldn’t think of anything else but the piano.
