The Omedetas will release their first new song in 2025, “Oniyori” The theme is “Setsubun”

It has been announced that The Omedetazu will release their new single “Oniyori” today, January 29th (Wednesday).

Last year, The Odetazu released the album “COLLECT10N” to commemorate their 10th anniversary, and also had a successful one-man live at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo. This work, which will be the first new song released in 2025, is a song with the theme of “Setsubun”. The work depicts the annual human event “Setsubun,” in which people scatter lucky beans while chanting “Oni is outside, fortune is inside,” and eat as many beans as their age to ward off evil spirits, from the perspective of demons. Based on up-tempo, happy hip-hop, it incorporates an impressive refrain and melodic hook, expressing the pop style of The Odetazu.

In addition, a tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the group’s formation, “The Omedeta’s 10th Anniversary Tour “Jitsu Tour ~Higashihantomi Edition~” will start in April. Held on April 26th (Saturday) at Shinsaibashi Music Club JANUS in Osaka, May 17th (Saturday) at Uguisudani Cinema Club in Tokyo, and June 14th (Saturday) at Takaoka Clover Hall in Toyama. The Toyama performance is already sold out. Tickets for other performances are currently on sale.
