NOT WONK Kato’s “FAHDAY2024”, first announcement with Kaneko Ayano, DJ Yogurt, DJ SADA and others

The first announcement of “FAHDAY 2024”, an expression exchange fair to be held in his hometown of Tomakomai, Hokkaido, was held on October 12th (Saturday), with NOT WONK Shuhei Kato as the inventor.

“FAHDAY 2024” will be co-sponsored by IZAKAYA Kusa -SOU-, Ouchi Coffee, CLUB ROOTS, Tachin King, Tomakomai ELLCUBE, Bar Old, Bar Base, and 7 stores operating in Tomakomai, and the venue will be a Tomakomai citizen whose demolition has been decided. The entire hall will be divided into four areas.

In addition to NOT WONK, Kaneko Ayano will be performing in the large hall “Area_1”. On the floor of “Area_3”, which is an outdoor area, there will be DJ Yogurt, DJ SADA, food and beverage stalls such as IZAKAYA Kusa-SOU-, Ouchi Coffee, and 4 other stores, as well as an official bar by CLUB ROOTS / Bar Old / Bar Base. Decided. Artists for “Area_2” and “Area_4” will be announced after the second round.

The main visual that was released at the same time was created by Kosuke Kawamura, who has held solo exhibitions in Japan and abroad as a collage artist and was appointed as the creative director of UNIQLO “UT” in 2022. This work deconstructs the landscape of Tomakomai photographed by photographer Tomoki Kuwashima and constructs a new Tomakomai.

The first lottery for “early bird tickets” that started today, May 16th (Thursday) will be accepted until 23:59 on May 26th (Sunday), and ” This is the second cheapest ticket after “FAHDAY MEETING TICKET”. In addition, a crowdfunding campaign is underway at CAMPFIRE where rewards include documentary footage from the day and goods printed with key visuals.
