Tasty reunites today's second EP "Heaven" for the first time in about three and a half years

Tasty, a three-piece band from Tokyo, has released their new EP, “Heaven,” today, Monday, February 10th.

After releasing their first album, Weep, in 2021, the members spent their days studying abroad, studying abroad, working as a graduate student, and working as a solo artist. This is the first new release in about three and a half years, and although it has been performed live for a while, the production began with the desire to record songs that have not been included in the work.

“Beer head” is an arrangement and re-recorded of “Head on beer,” which was included in the first handmade EP without a digital release. “Moonbow” was produced based on a demo from a studio session with Haruka (Ba./Vo.) and Koike (Dr.), who are also known for his work as Haruy. Previously, Anno (Gt./Vo.) and Haruka were in charge of the lyrics and music, but this time Koike also participated in the lyrics.

“Terminal,” written by Koike, is a rock number that depicts the sense of speed at the end of the world and the daily life spent with friends. “Finally Lost” is a light pop song that describes the daily anguish caused by insomnia and how they try to accept it, and it has a lineup of songs that pack the worldviews of each member. This EP features the three members of Tasty who have reunited over time and are trying out a new sound that is different from previous works.

In addition, Lilipa for this film will be held at Enoshima OPPA-LA in Kanagawa on Saturday, February 22nd. On the day, check out the live act and GeGeGe and DJ. SUNGA, COGEE, Makiko Yamamoto, ifax!, U-GUY, ANNO and others will appear.
