The 1-on-1 breaking battle will be held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo in November this year for the first time in nine years. Tokyo will be held for free.

On the day, live music by DJs and beatmakers resonated with graffiti art, symbolizing the free spirit of hip-hop culture. And the world’s top B-Boys and B-Girls engage in a heated battle in this exciting space.
Knxwledge, which recently won the “Best Progressive R&B Album” category at the Grammy Awards, has also been confirmed to visit Japan as a duo NxWorries with Anderson .Paak. He is a member of the long-established label Stones Throw, and has produced songs for Kendrick Lamar and other music, and has also provided official audio for the popular fighting game Street Fighter 6, which he himself loves, and combines the internet, games, and hip-hop. He is an artist who develops his own unique style.
Additionally, DUSTY HUSKY, the label headed by Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and also known as MOSS VILLAGE, will also be appearing on DLiP RECORDS, the label head and frontman of DINARY DELTA FORCE. In addition, Fujisawa’s rap duo BLAHRMY (MILES WORD & SHEEF THE 3RD), DJ BUNTA, DMC Japan Champion title, and YASS, Japan’s leading hip-hop dancer.
Meanwhile, a strong lineup will also be participating from DOGEAR RECORDS, an important label that leads the Tokyo underground scene, featuring unique artists such as ISSUGI, Senninsho, and KID FRESINO. Live performances will be performed by ISSUGI, a leading rapper/beat maker, BES, who is also known as a member of SCARS/SWANKY SWIPE, and BUDAMUNK, who has established a solid position as a beatmaker on numerous projects.
Breakin has recently become a sport, but its roots date back to the 1970s New York, the dawn of hip-hop culture. As DJ’s music approached a breakthrough, young people began to make dynamic moves and dance to express themselves. That is the beginning of breaking and is the essence of this culture.
This kickoff party will return to the roots of breaking and bring you a condensed four major elements of hip-hop culture (music, rap, graffiti, dance). Don’t miss this one-day special event where you can experience the essence of hip-hop with your whole body.
