A party with DJ/producer A-Trak as headliner will be held on Saturday, March 15th at Spotify O-EAST & AZUMAYA in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Alain Macklovitch, also known as A-Trak, from Montreal, Canada, began his career as a battle DJ in his teens, and became a champion in world championships, including DMC, and gained fame. He then switched to club DJ, gaining enormous popularity as a solo artist and with the brother duo The Brothers Macklovitch with Armand Van Helden, a unit with Duck Sauce and Chromeo’s Dave 1, and was launched in 2007. Tata’s own label, Fool’s Gold
Records has brought artists like Kid Cudi and Danny Brown into the world.
A-Trak continues to redefine the role of DJs as tastemakers and storytellers. It’s been seven years since 2018 that A-Trak’s Tokyo performance has been realized. Furthermore, Higashimaya, the second floor, celebrated its sixth anniversary the day before, and it is said that gorgeous members will appear on both floors. Additional performers will be announced soon.
