Awasetsu mona and MERI’s collaboration EP “CRY DAY” was released today, Wednesday, February 19th.
This four-song work is based on a guitar sound, and depicts intertwining emotions and invisible pain. The songs, which are woven like a story, are “cry day” they encounter to end, “hangover” being trapped in a sweet illusion, “275 with yogurt” shaking as they pass each other, and while resisting, they face the inevitable parting. The story depicts the path of the heart that continues to resist even though he seeks salvation and struggles, despite his desires and conflicts, along with lyrical melody, both delicate and powerful.
Producers include RIK, safmusic, Korean Laptopboyboy and MJ Beat Dordie. Each person adds a unique approach to the song.
