Tiji jojo and Gk.id, members of BAD HOP, which disbanded at the Tokyo Dome performance last February, have released their first solo singles.
Tiji jojo’s solo single “Malibu Dream,” released on Tuesday, February 18th, is a song that shows off her special melodic flow on a mellow beat produced by JIGG. The lyrics describe the success they have grasped with their friends and the lyrics that premonitor the future developments. The music video was directed by Shun Takeda.
Meanwhile, Gk.id’s solo single “NEW DAY” released today, Wednesday, February 19th, the first year since BAD HOP disbanded, is the first single from his first album, “Hood Melody”, and is a guitar player. The song is a refreshing song that is different from the image of the BAD HOP era, combining beats that are mainly based on the original and emotional melody. The lyrics are filled with the determination to overcome past difficulties and take a new step, and this song is filled with his personal message. The music video was directed by Takuya Setomitsu.
