Young Coco will release their new single “WOKE UP” today, Wednesday, February 26th. The MV was also released.
Young Coco played a role in Chiba Yuuki’s viral hit of “team friends.” This song has already been performed live, and has been a long-awaited release for fans. The film was completed in a hotel room in Thailand in 2024, and Young Coco commented on the trigger for the production: “The next day I had a session with A$AP Rocky, I was so motivated that I got up and worked out at the hotel gym, and then I wanted to record it with a powerful sound using the brass sound, and the hooks were immediately dropped. I came here and hummed it just for fun, and I thought it would be good, so I made it.”
The music video was filmed in New York’s Soho district and Chinatown with a creator introduced by a friend who lives in New York, and was completed in just one day. Young Coco is said to be on the verge of releases this year. We would like to pay attention to future trends as well.
