Joe Cupertino releases new album “DE:” which is a series of works with the previous work


Joe Cupertino has released his new album, DE:, today, Wednesday, February 26th.

This is a series of albums with “RE:” released in 2024. While the previous work was based on the theme of “regeneration,” this work is based on the theme of “destroy.” Calli Stephus and Daichi Yamamoto participated in guest performances. In addition to Joe himself, the producers include T-Razor, whom he has worked with on numerous works, and Sakepnk, a producer/beatmaker affiliated with the creative label Wau. Mastering is done by Kentaro Kimura (Kimken Studio). The artwork was all created by Hinato Nishitani, starting with the pre-released single.

The beginning of the work shows how the film gradually moves towards the theme of “destruction” while still retaining the afterglow of the previous work. Joe himself expresses the idols influenced by a certain hero work and their destruction, inspired by their strength, and the song “TOAA” (The One Above All), which depicts the progression and incoherent narrative of REM and non-REM sleep in sleep. It contains a total of eight songs, including a beat in which techno, R&B, and Brazilian funk crossovers the dreams they have, and “Rem, Non-Rem,” which allows you to enjoy Joe’s rap skills as he rides them.

Also, on Friday, June 6th, the release live performance of two albums, “RE:” and “DE:” will be released, “DE:CIDE TODAY RE:GRET TOMORROW – Joe Cupertino “RE:” and “DE:” Release Party -” It has been decided to be held.
