Fumitake Ezaki, dance performance “Desktop Sky Theory” soundtrack distribution

The stage music written by Fumitake Ezaki for the dance performance “Kekou no Kuron” was released as “Kekou no Kuron Original Soundtrack” today, May 17th (Friday).

This work is the first stage music in the career of musician Fumitake Ezaki, who is also known as a member of WONK. Musicians such as Shun Ishiwaka, Kohei Ando, ​​Hanami, and Reiya Terakubo participated in this ambitious work, which incorporates a wide range of musical styles such as beat music, minimal, and techno.

Recording and mixing were done by engineer Yu Sasaki, and mastering was done by Akihito Yoshikawa of STUDIO Dede. The artwork was designed by Yuhei Urakami based on a photograph by Hiroyasu Odo.

The performance is sponsored by ORA (Open Road Associates Co., Ltd.), which operates the dance studio BROADWAY DANCE CENTER, which has produced many dancers who are active both domestically and internationally, including the Takarazuka Revue and Shiki Theater Company. The dancers include Takuro Watanabe of the New National Theater Ballet Company and Chase Maxwell, who is based in New York and has been active in Broadway musicals, and other dancers who will lead the dance world in Japan and the United States in the future. It is also attracting attention that internationally acclaimed artist Hiroshi Isoya is involved in the stage design.

After a preview performance performed in February of this year, it has been decided that a repeat performance will be held at “Dance Forum 2024”, which will be held at the Tokyo International Forum for two days from August 9th (Friday) to 10th (Saturday). The performance will feature live stage music. Tickets are on sale from 10:00 today.
