Four new singers have joined Tomita Lab. In addition, the new song “The birds of four,” which will unveil the new structure, was released today, Wednesday, March 5th.
Tomita Lab has been popular for many years as a solo project by music producer Tomita Keiichi. The project, which has collaborated with many artists up until now, has been searching for new vocalists to sing their new songs since releasing their latest album, 7+, in 2022. Three years later, this year, production was announced for a new album, and at the same time new songs and new members were announced.
The four new members joined the group, Kitamura Tsubame of SSW, who has a multi-playing technique and a mysterious singing voice, You of the up-and-coming unit Natsudaidai, Arche, R&B singer with mysterious charm, and Santa of SAR, an alternative crew that crosses a variety of music.
The new song “The birds of four,” which was released at the same time as the new establishment was announced, is a song written for the four members, with Tomita expressing the diverse and different voices of the four members in one song. The lyrics are written by Tomita’s ally, Horigome Takaki (KIRINJI), and the new members are like four birds, and the song is filled with hopes for a major leap forward in Tomita Lab’s new project.
