Maika Loubté will be holding a solo live performance of “VEX’S MESSY HOUSE” on Friday, June 6th at CIRCUS Tokyo in Shibuya, Tokyo.
This performance is said to be an opportunity for her to be the first to be shown a new song from the new album she is planning to release. Past songs will also be rearranged to match the current mode and will be played with a new interpretation. It is said that this will be a time when a musical experience will be provided in which old and new songs intersect on the same level.
The event, titled “VEX’S MESSY HOUSE” (=VEX’s messy house), is linked to the important theme that forms the core of her new album, according to Maika Loubté. In the flyer, the mysterious character “VEX” (= to irritate, to slowly plague” and “MESSY HOUSE” are expressed with humor and floating feeling.

This may be a surprise, but the general outline of the sixth new album has been completed. Every time I finish my album, I think I might not be able to make anything anymore, but as I invited friends I trust and created songs like therapy, each song became connected by dots. What drives me to this extent, and what drives me? The themes for the next work will be “House,” “Incomplete creatures,” and “Human bugs and errors.”
Aside from the details, I wanted to bring my music to everyone as soon as possible. In that place where you can fully utilize your bass, you can feel a sense of “House” distance… On June 6th, there will be a show featuring a number of new songs. We also bring together various past songs that evoke the musical current location. Enjoy a creative adventure together in a messy home of VEX (English: irritating, annoying)! I would be happy to meet you at “VEX’S MESSY HOUSE.”
