Natsudaidai streams pre-sing single "Tasting!" from the second EP

Natsudaidai released their new single, “Tasting!” today, Wednesday, March 5th.

Natsudaidai is a unit consisting of singer You and beatmaker Nanae. This work is a pre-single from the second EP “CHEW,” scheduled to be released on Saturday, April 2nd, and is produced by Nanae. This song depicts the sweet temptation of food, and is an upper jazz funk number that contains a variety of grooves by musicians of the same generation, and the chorus woven by vocalists, centered around You, is also an attractive “EAT SONG.”

The artwork depicting a sumo wrestler eating meat buns is done by Ezaki Takuya, following his previous works, “Swimmer” and “Shiraa.” This work was also selected for J-WAVE’s SONAR TRAX (March).

The second EP “CHEW” will feature a total of five songs, including “Swimmer,” produced by Tomita Lab. A release party will also be held at Shimokitazawa ADRIFT in Tokyo on Saturday, April 19th. On the day, Natsudaidai plans to stage a full band set, and the super mountaineering club will also appear as a guest act.
