The free live event “J-WAVE & Roppongi Hills present TOKYO MAPS Nagaoka Ryosuke EDITION” will be held at Roppongi Hills Arena in Tokyo on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.
This event started in 2008 as an event that spreads music, art and performances in a variety of ways. It is co-hosted by J-WAVE (81.3FM) and Roppongi Hills, and every year, it has hosted program organizers with people and labels who are active in the music world, and has been holding unique live performances that are in line with the themes unique to that year.
This year’s program organizer will be Nagaoka Ryosuke, a musician and vocalist and guitarist for Petrols, as well as the navigator for J-WAVE’s CITROËN FOURGONNETTE. This year’s theme is “Listen to your skin: The wonderful sounds of wonderful people.” The artists curated by Nagaoka Ryosuke will be performing to stimulate their sensibilities.

I think music is something people play. The voice and the sound. It’s created by people.
Music is now easy to carry and can be enjoyed anywhere.
That’s great, but the truth is that people make noises.
