It has been announced that ASOBOiSM will release their new single, “Happy Ending Show feat. Sekiguchi Shingo” on Wednesday, March 12th.
SSW/Rapper ASOBOiSM is featured in TV Asahi’s EIGHT-JAM 2024 special feature “Now you need to know!! Japanese female rappers,” and is expected to appear at SXSW, one of the largest mixed festivals in Texas in the US. This song features Sekiguchi Shingo, also known as a member of Ovall, as the producer. The two have produced several songs together, including “Amanojaku”, “Tomorrow is coming”, and “Damn it.” This collaboration song is said to be a work that depicts the emotional journey of searching for each of the “happy endings.” The ephemeral yet warm sound of the acoustic guitar is enveloped in the song, and it is said to be a song that gently snuggles up into a wounded heart.
In addition, a solo live performance will also be held at WWW, Tokyo on Wednesday, June 4th. Ticket details will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th.
