Ovall released his new single “Brainstorm” today, Wednesday, March 12th.
Last year, Ovall brought together his fourth album, “Still Water Release Tour 2024,” and successfully made his tour “Ovall “Still Water Release Tour 2024,” which toured five cities across the country, which could be considered the culmination of their 18 years of band activities. This year, they have also been making a number of appearances at large festivals such as “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’25” and “GREENROOM FESTIVAL 20th Anniversary.”
This song shows a new side to the band’s evolution, with its light four-handed four-player performance following “Cubism,” which is the most exciting performance at live shows. As it was designed to be performed live, it is a dance number filled with powerful and positive energy. The foundation part that forms the music’s foundation was produced by Sekiguchi Shingo, and Shingo Suzuki and mabanua presented their own thoughts in sound to complete them.

The guitar, bass riffs that make you want to sing, addictive chord progressions, and drums that support the bottom are combined to create a sense of speed, giving you a sense of the next stage. This time, Sekki composed the music and while there was a “personality” everywhere, it also had a mix that made me feel like Ovall, and it was fun to record.

I created this song with the hope of making it a fresh song that symbolizes Ovall today, moving on to a new chapter. This song combines speed with strength that opens the next door. This song seems to be looping, but it brings a sudden turn of events. I thought about whether Ovall would perform that live performance, and then completed it with the idea of what it was like.
As I was making it, I continued to incorporate the inspiration that came from the moment into the songs. And the two have a strong rhythm, groove! I’d be happy if you could feel the new Ovall!
