It has been announced that Inoue Mei will release his new album, “Tokyo Quartet” on Wednesday, March 19th.
Inoue Mei is a guitarist who is active in a variety of projects and supports, including STEREO CHAMP and CRCK/LCKS. This film features musicians who lead the modern scene, such as David Bryant (Pf., Keys), Marty Holoubek (Ba.), and Ishiwaka Shun (Ds.). In the future, this is an international jazz project that is expected to be active not only in Japan but also overseas.
Under Inoue Mei, this is the first leader album in about five years since “Our Platform” (2020), and is said to be a straight-ahead jazz album by a luxurious quartet.

In addition, it has been decided that Inoue Mei will be appearing in the second installment of the collaboration live show “Immersive EnTaMe x Jaz.in” between the live entertainment content “Immersive EnTaMe” and the jazz magazine “Jaz.in” to be held on Thursday, May 29th. The venue, Club eX, located inside the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo, will be set to a 360° circular stage, allowing you to enjoy live music in a luxurious and extraordinary space.
Tickets will be available for advance tickets from 12:00pm on Friday, March 14th, and general sales will start at 12:00pm on Friday, March 21st. Also check it out.
