Young Coco announces release of new album “BIG C” for the first time in three years, pre-release single “Yoyogi Alien”

It has been announced that Young Coco will release their new album, BIG C, on Wednesday, April 2nd.

Young Coco is a rapper who joined Chiba Yuuki’s “Team Friend” last year and played a role in the viral hit of the song. This is the first time he has released an album under his own name in about three years since “The quiet before the storm” released in 2022.

In addition, “Yoyogi Alien,” the second leading single of the album following “WOKE UP,” released the other day, will be released on Wednesday, March 12th. The song was created by Young Coco himself and completed it last spring.

The title “Yoyogi Alien” not only shows that there is a studio where he gathers on a daily basis in Yoyogi, but also describes Young Coco himself and his friends both at home and abroad under the word “Alien.” The single’s artwork is also done by Colourful Mula, known as the creative director of Glo Gang, a label run by Chicago rapper Chief Keef. He is also known for his work on artwork for famous rappers such as 2 Chainz and Young Thug.

The music video, which was released at the same time as the release, was directed by Shammond Shorter (Brainwave Films), who traveled around the world with Young Coco and also directed the music video for his song “HOP OUT.” The film was filmed by friends from Young Coco, who are active globally, gathered in Yoyogi.

Young Coco has also been confirmed to appear at the event “ARTE 1st anniversary” to be held at Osaka Club JOULE on Sunday, April 13th.
