"AMAPINIGHT" and "Hyperwine" collaborate to attract State OFF, an important figure in the rubber band.

A co-sponsored party called “HYPERCLUB TOKYO 2.0” by the monster party “AMAPINIGHT” and the avant-garde event “Hyperwine” based in Cakeshop, Korea, will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at Shibuya R Lounge, Tokyo. The special guest will be State OFF, a producer/DJ from Zimbabwe and currently based in Amsterdam.

State OFF, known as the best curator of the South African dance music (Gqom) scene, has attracted attention from around the world since his first EP, TODAY GQOM in 2022, and has been based on rubber, including the EDITSSS series, but has also attracted attention from around the world for his numerous works that have leapt from there.

This is reflected in the DJ, and its innovative composition brings a special auditory experience, with the intersecting distortions and multi-layered, versatile resonances. The minimalist progression is modern, studded with African diaspora and exciting modern electronic music from various countries.

The HYPERCLUB, which will be held this time, is a party line held at Cakeshop by the label Carousel Seoul and collective Hyperwine, and has featured famous acts such as Mike Q, Florentino and Bobby Beethoven (fka. Total Freedom). In addition, the latest EP from State OFF, Rubber’s important work, “Simulacra,” has also been released by Carousel Seoul.

Party makeup around labels has been thoroughly carried out, including Hyperwine founder Nevin The Dude, and WRACK, the only Japanese producer to be released by Carousel Seoul. From “AMAPINIGHT” by SAKURA, RINA and AOI, which have been causing an unprecedented rage in Tokyo, SAMO continues to expand its stages, including last year’s “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL”, “RDC”, and “STAR FESTIVAL”, and SAMO and resident mate TAKENOKO at the popular Osaka party “FULLHOUSE”. The lineup includes YUUGOH, which has also received offers from media/fashion parties such as Spotify, Netflix, AMBUSH, and DIESEL.

It is no exaggeration to say that it is the representative of the Japanese rubber scene, TYO GQOM attempted to invite State OFF in 2023, and this time it will be his long-awaited collaboration after two years. Furthermore, it has been decided that 011668, an artist from LA who has sought spirituality, mythology and view of the universe by fusing elements of dance, special effects and film noir, has also been visited by 011668.

It looks like it will be a hot party, with an evolutionary rubber and amapiano, hip-hop with a low center of gravity and bass music, and house/techno that can play beats.
