“SIDE-B SPRING EDITION” will be held Curated by wau, TAM, and BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS

The “SIDE-B SPRING EDITION” project by Shibuya Sakura Stage will be held again this year. The event will be held from Friday, April 4th to Sunday, April 6th.

“SIDE-B” is a project set in the 3rd floor event space “BLOOM GATE”, which is characterized by its large-scale vision, and brings together artists, creators, and Shibuya workers with “B-side” talent that differ from their main job and main activities (A-side). This time, it will be the anniversary of Shibuya Sakura Stage, and a special spring festival will be held, just like a music festival, following the “Shibuya Sakura Festival 2025,” which involves local residents, tenants, creators and the media, with a special spring festival in mind.

The market is packed with live performances and DJs from artists who color the indie scene both in Japan and abroad, a market filled with unique art, miscellaneous goods, and records, and enjoy the three days of dancing and enjoying the family while drinking carefully selected coffee and beer.

The first day is curated by Wau, a creative group that is attracting attention from all walks of life as a label that leads the next generation with its own creative creatives. Lil Summer, Ámina and Julia Takada will appear in the live performance, while Kota Matsukawa, Sakepnk and Ryuju Tanoue will appear in DJs, creating a genre-less, independent space.

On the second day, TOKYO ALTER MUSIC was the selector and held a wide variety of showcases including conferences, live music and DJs. It will bring you a day that will allow you to imagine an alternative future.

The final day was a live and DJ that will brighten up the spring of BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS, a label based in Tokyo and Taipei, aiming to develop world-wide indigenous culture. Luxury artists such as Joanna Wang, MIZ, Kimyo Reitaro, and PAHUMA have been confirmed to appear.

The event will also be held for three days at the same time, where you can find “Culture Convenience Market,” a collection of slightly more quirky miscellaneous goods, second-hand clothing and records, and “Mirage Coffee & Bar,” where you can discover sweets that are sure to sell out and blissful drinks. From children to adults, there are live shows, DJs and the market with special drinks in hand. A 10-second walk from Shibuya Station, enjoying the festival-like three days of fun on the hill where culture and cherry blossom petals dance.
