It has been announced that YAMORI will release their new single “Tokyo” on Wednesday, March 26th.
YAMORI is active in two axes: Beat Boxer/SSW. It is also fresh in our memory that he won the TAG-TEAM category of the world’s finest beatbox tournament, Grand Beatbox Battle 2024, held last year, in the TAG-TEAM category, in the duo Jairo with John-T.
This is the first release in 2025, and is said to be a fast-paced, drum and bass song that depicts the interplay between the protagonist and the heroine, set in a city of Tokyo where he is in a hurry to live. In addition, Oi Takahiro (Deep Sea Diving Club) participated on guitar, and YAMORI’s own hard beatboxing was added, creating a fresh sound that has never been seen before. I look forward to the release.

While walking around a certain city in Tokyo, I realized that I was getting annoyed by people. However, I also realized that in my quiet hometown, I don’t feel that way. I don’t know why they were so urgent.
But I want to be someone who can walk without hurting people or yourself, just like I’m jumping in any city. With the desire to admire such people, I created a drum and bass song that has a fast BPM but a relaxed groove.
I’m responsible for the track making and production myself, and Oi from Deep Sea Diving Club is taking part in the guitar. I hope that many people will enjoy it.
