Taiwanese ?te (Whyte) x TENDRE’s collaboration song “Let Me Be Me” released

Taiwan’s SSW ?te (Whyte) has released their new single “Let Me Be Me,” featuring TENDRE as guest vocals, today, Friday, March 28th.

This is a love-filled song that depicts the feeling of being so fond of someone who cares about them, and the feeling of understanding love despite feeling the pressure. This song is like a parent-child relationship, with parents’ feelings of expectation from their children and the conflict between children who try to be themselves while accepting those feelings. Also pay attention to the lyrics, which are a mixture of English and Japanese that express each of their feelings.

TENDRE is also a Japanese artist respected by ?te, and they deepened their interactions, appearing on stage at the Billboard Live YOKOHAMA performance in Kanagawa in 2024, and have now released their long-awaited collaboration single.

A music video featuring TENDRE herself has also been released. This work depicts a clumsy father who cares about his son, and a son who finds it bothersome and understands his love.

They are actively collaborating across borders with Babychair (Malaysia), Anthony Lazaro (Italy), and TENDRE. They plan to continue releasing collaboration singles with overseas artists in the future. In recent years, he has also been active in global activities, appearing at many music festivals outside of Taiwan.

[TENDRE Comments]

We were able to sing together a song that will give you a clear innocence and kindness that I felt when I first met Whyte, as well as the impression I had and the person I was in. It’s become one of my favorite songs, and I’d like to sing it again soon. Congratulations on the release once again!
