Three lead singles from the new anime series “LAZARUS” were released on Thursday, March 27th, including songs by Bonobo and Floating Points, the main themes of Kamasi Washington.
LAZARUS, which will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from Sunday, April 6th, and will be available on U-NEXT, DMM TV, and unlimited anime, is a hot topic with director Watanabe Shinichiro (Cowboy Bebop), character design Hayashi Akemi (BANANA FISH), action supervision by Chad Staelski (John Wick), production by MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man), and planning and production by SOLA ENTERTAINMENT (The Lord of the Rings: Battle of the Rohan).
The soundtrack was joined by Kamashi Washington, Bonobo and Froating Points, due to an offer from director Watanabe Shinichiro. The film released the opening theme “Vortex,” which is made up of bold, multi-moving, and Bonobo’s Western-style atmosphere and gospel-based slow burn number “Dark Will Fall (ft. Jacob Lusk)” and Floating Points’ long, nine-minute number “DEXION” where electronic rhythms and synths pulsate pulsating.

The opening movie for the anime has also been released today. We look forward to the broadcast/streaming of the main story.
