iri decides to release new EP “Seek”; Nishida Shun, Ishiwaka Shun, Kota Matsukawa and others

It has been announced that iri will release his new EP, “Seek” on Wednesday, May 21st.

Last year, Iri released “Swamp” as her first tie-up single on terrestrial TV drama, “Pick You Up”, which features a memorable fresh house track, and “Faster than me”, which was the theme song for the ABEMA/Netflix drama series “I Know The Shapes of Love”, which was starring Yokohama Ryusei and became a hot topic at the end of the year. Also, last month, Lyric, who parted ways with a new encounter and is hoping to set off a new journey that has yet to be seen, just released a melancholic song “Butterfly” that evokes spring.

This is the first packaged work in about two years since the album “PRIVATE,” and includes four songs woven together with up-and-coming sound producers who are active both domestically and internationally, including the aforementioned “Butterfly” written by Australian producer Taka Perry.

“harunone” was composed by guitarist Nishida Shudai, who also participated in recordings and live performances by many musicians such as Kimijima Daizora, KID FRESINO, Fujii Kaze, and Aimyon, and also composed and arranged Hanaregumi’s “Good Day After the Rain” (feat. iri)” which also featured in Iri. In addition to leading Answer to Remember, CLNUP4, SMTK, Ishiwaka Shun, who has also participated in numerous live shows and works such as Kururi, KID FRESINO, Millennium Parade, and Shiina Ringo, has also been credited as drummers.

Kota Matsukawa, who also produced reina and Wez Atlaz, as the founder of the up-and-coming creative collective/label “wau” series, will be composing the music. Also, “otozure” has been composed by Tokyo-based DJ/producer TAAR, who has worked on IRI’s songs many times in the past.

The artwork was drawn by illustrator Saeki Yuko, who has worked on art direction for Fujii Kaze, Sato Chiaki, and muque from various advertisements, and also worked on artwork/visual direction for Swamp, as well as by illustrator Saeki Yuko. This work expresses the theme of the EP.

In addition, special offers for each store will be announced. Amazon comes with “Mega Jacket”, Rakuten Books comes with “Seek” JK Illustration Postcard”, Seven Net comes with “Seek” JK Illustration Can Badge”, support stores include “Seek” JK Illustration Sticker”, and “Seek” Poster” as a bonus as a bonus for the iri official fan club “Wavy Club.” Each perk is limited in quantity, so if you are interested, make a reservation early.

In addition, with the release of the EP, it was announced that the title of the hall tour, which will be held in June, will also be “iri Hall Tour 2025 “Seek.”
