SALU has released its new mixtape “BIS4” today, Wednesday, April 9th.
This is the latest in the mixtape series “BIS (Before I Sign),” which SALU has released at every milestone in his career, including label contracts. It’s been about eight years since the previous album, and it consists of a total of 19 songs.
Most of the songs are produced by BACHLOGIC, and other producers include Alnonthewave from Taiwan and Jazadocument from his hometown of Sapporo.
The featured artists include a wide range of artists, including TWIGY, their first collaboration, YOUNG DIAS, who has led the Sapporo scene, Ikmitsu, a young SSW from Kyoto, and MC Nemlo Uneeq from Nemuro City.
The film, which opens with “Allgood,” conveys his positive attitude, includes songs that convey SALU’s feelings over the past few years, such as “Big Poppa” with Nemlo Uneeq, rapping from his father’s perspective, “JP Confidence” expresses a sense of unease, and “Kintsugi,” rapping the past and present, citing the names of artists around him, making it a great way to feel the path he has taken.
From last year to this year, SALU has been releasing collaboration songs with Novel Core, Kohjiya, KOWICHI, Starceed, Red Eye, and DO in a row. “
It’s a rich mixtape that will make you look forward to the near future, whether BIS4 will become a new signal.
