Tomita Lab released their new single “Ahaha feat. UA” today, Wednesday, April 9th.
Tomita Lab also attracted attention for the addition of four singers, Kitamura Tsubasa, Natsudaidai, Arche and Santa (SAR), as new members. This is the second single in the new organization, and was produced with a guest vocalist, just like the previous Tomita Lab.
This time, his vocalist is UA, a label mate of SPEEDSTAR RECORDS, which is celebrating his 30th anniversary this year. Tomita Lab has previously featured and produced various artists and released songs, but it is surprisingly the first collaboration with UA, which has released many famous songs during the same era.
This collaboration, which was a long-awaited dream for Tomita, began with Tomita writing a letter to UA in the spring of 2024, and was produced while communicating with UA living in Canada. The soft, beautiful melodic tracks from Tomita Lab, and UA’s gentle yet powerful singing voice create a heartwarming number that gently envelops the beginning of spring.
In addition, four new members of Tomita Lab also participated in this song as a chorus.
