64control releases new EP “Bunbun Chopper” from TREKKIE TRAX

64control has released its new EP, Bunbun Chopper, from TREKKIE TRAX today, Friday, April 11th.

64control is a producer unit formed in 2017 by Zéne, a Tokyo resident, and U-koh, a Osaka resident. He has released numerous songs based on Juke/Footwork, and has been active in DJing at nightclubs all over Japan, and has also attracted attention for his release of his work on the project 64DX (Rokuyon Deluxe), which collaborated with pop duo DaXx.

This work was inspired by the inspiring club experiences that Zéne and U-koh experienced at their respective bases. This is a floor-use EP packed full of elements from the sound of electro, tech house and ghetto tech. The song includes three songs: “Bunbun Chopper,” which features sharply cut-up vocals and groovy percussion, “Acid Tech,” which brings out the excitement of the floor with an interaction between acid bass and orchestral hits, and “Work,” which features a sensational, iconic trumpet, percussive sub-bass and hi-hats that are played out quickly.

In addition to the original tracks, it also includes a remix by Oyubi, DubGuy, who are well-known for their releases from TREKKIE TRAX, as well as the up-and-coming producer Yesss from Kyoto, and Escaflowne from New York. It consists of 7 tracks in total.
