It has been announced that Dos Monos will release their new EP, “Dos Moons,” in May.
Dos Monos reborn as a “band” and presented a new direction with his album “Dos Atomos” released last year. “Dos Moons” will be his first new EP in about a year, with the cover art being handled by Ito Junji, a master of the horror manga world who has gained support from around the world for the Tomie series and Uzumaki.
In the past, Dos Monos, a huge fan of Ito manga, made a request from the author directly to make this collaboration happen. Based on the inspiration he received from the cover art, he created the songs for this work from scratch.
Dos Monos will also launch its first domestic tour, “Tour D,” with this EP on Friday, May 9th, on Spotify O-EAST in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Tokyo performance will be performed by solo live performances, the Osaka performance will be performed by Otobuke Beva, and the Sapporo performance will be performed by Television Tairiku Ondo. Tour tickets are also available for general sale today.
