Matsuki Misada releases his first single of 2024, “Moon” and releases lyric video

Mitsuda Matsuki released his new single “Moon” today, Wednesday, May 29th.

Matsuki Misada has been making waves for his first live event and for hosting the Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Gaku no Ne.” This is his first new song since his first album “THE MAGICAL TOUCH,” released at the end of November last year, and is a waltz-style song in three beats, which is Matsuki Misada’s forte. It tells a romantic and fantastical love story, and is the first time in a long time that he has created everything from vocals to instruments and mixing by himself.

The artwork was also drawn by Matsuki Misada himself, as in the past, and depicts a scene of a man and woman holding hands and dancing in monochrome against the backdrop of a large full moon. In addition, a lyric video based on the artwork will be released today at 9pm.

In addition, Matsuki Misada is also working on creating new songs. Let’s look forward to the latest news.

[liner notes by Matsuki Misada]

I wanted to write straightforward romantic music, so it was in three beats. That’s how it always goes.

Everything except the vocals was created using software programs.

Although the lyrics don’t go into detail, the song has the atmosphere of a monster that can take on human form only at night and an innocent, sheltered young lady having a rendezvous under the moonlight.
