Kan Sano and apparel brand antiqua have teamed up to launch a new creative project, ichion.
In this project, Kan Sano produced, reconstructed and edited the upcycled materials that were lying in the fashion brand antiqua. It is an attempt to breathe life into new ways. It is said that various developments are planned in the future as an initiative to “revitalize and create” that intersect design, music, and sustainable values.
In this first release, nine items will be announced at once. All seven items except for the T-top logo of the ichion logo are laid out with collage works by Kan Sano.
Each item is now available for pre-order sales at the Origami web store. In the future, the company will be offering opportunities to pick up the item at Kan Sano’s live venues and “origami STORE” located inside WHATAWON, a stay-at-home entertainment mall in Kishiwada, Osaka.
This project is a new attempt that is different from the so-called artist’s merchandise. We’ll also look forward to future developments.
*ICHON uses upcycled materials, so the number of items sold is always limited.

We will start a project to redesign and reuse upcycled materials from antiqua, who always makes goods with us.
As the values related to food, clothing, and shelter are slowly changing, I think what each person can do and what they need to do will change in the future.
It may be a small action that cannot yet be considered a well-thought-out attempt on the environment or resources.
However, I wanted to start with one of the things I can do now.
Each sound is filled with life.
With this in mind, we named it “ichion.”
First, we prepared a shirt with a design that features logos and homemade collages.
All of them are beautifully finished, so be sure to take a look.

We at antiqua have always valued “making the most of what we have” in our manufacturing industry.
Through this project, Ichion, we will be introducing upcycled materials – clothes that were still waiting for their turn.
I deeply sympathize with the new light that will shine.
I am very excited to be able to create a new life together with us, as the power of music and art is breathed into new life.
We will continue to look for what we can do to ensure that even small changes can be made.
