SAR released its first major EP, “202,” today, Wednesday, April 23rd, on PONY CANYON label IRORI Records.
This album contains five songs, including “juice” released in December last year, “Side by Side”, which was selected for J-WAVE’s February “SONAR TRAX”, and “Back to Wild”, which was released last month. The lead song, “New Wheels,” is a guest appearance by rapper Shing02, known for the “Luv(sic)” series. It is said that this song was recorded by Shing02 when they visited Japan. Focus on Santa (Vo.), Imu Sam (Gt./MC), and Shing02’s microphone relays that unfold on a calm looping track.
In addition, with this work, SAR will hold solo live shows in two locations in Tokyo and Osaka in May. Tickets are currently on sale.
