LIBRO announces new AL "Nakama" details, guest appearances include Chinza DOPENESS, DAG FORCE, Motoharu

It has been announced that LIBRO will release its new album, “Nakaima” on Thursday, May 15th (CD will be released on Wednesday, May 21st).

This is the first album in about four years since the previous album, Naorai (2021), and contains a total of 10 songs, including “Fate Comes to See You,” which was released earlier the other day. “Nakaima” is a word that captures the “center of life” that runs through from ancient times to the present day. A unique Japanese view of time that teaches us the sacredness and creativity of “living in this moment” rather than the past or the future. This album is said to be filled with the desire to cherish every moment.

All the songs are produced by LIBRO himself. Guest performances include Chinza DOPENESS, DAG FORCE, and Motoharu (Sax). Following his previous work, Naorai, the mix is done by ZKA (GRUNTERZ), mastering is done by Kumano Isao, and artwork is done by Bishou Tsuyoshi. He also held his first solo live performance, “Nakaima” Release One Man Live,” at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo on Sunday, May 25th. Tickets are currently being accepted.

Since the previous work, Naorai, I have been traveling nationwide and travelling around the country, despite the confusion that has continued. My feeling has suddenly been the latter. It was filled with encounters with me, my former self, my current self, and my future self, and the days of learning and healing started to flow in sequence. This album, “Nakaima,” is primarily about supporting young people, but it is a resonance with the senses that live up to the hearts of our generation. Furthermore, connect with a culture of respect regardless of generation, and feel the nostalgic and new day of festival music. I believe that it is only thanks to everyone’s warmth that we were able to overcome the depression of the rain after the holidays, but this is also the culmination of recent years.
