The music video for “Poppy Field” has been released from NEWLY’s first album, “Not About All.”
NEWLY is a composer and works as a multi-instrumental player, mainly on bass. This music video is directed by Ryota Nakagawa and is an artist who works as a creative director.You2Yusuke Nakata, also known as the author of the event, is taking part.
The album “Not About All” is a piece that NEWLY himself has worked on everything from songwriting to programming, guitar, bass, rose piano, and mellotron. Participating musicians include TENDRE, Madness Pin Drops, yuya saito (yonawo), Yohey Tsukasaki, ryo takahashi (Pistachio Studio), Lil Summer (wau), robe (KenT from Soulflex), and Terakubo Reiya. It was released last November and was physically released last month in three forms: LP, CD and cassette tape.
NEWLY will also hold a solo live performance centered around this work at WALL & WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo on Sunday, June 15th. Tickets are currently on sale. Check this as well.
