The collaboration single “IMASARA (feat. Aile The Shota & PORIN)” between DJ/producer ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo, block.fm) and producer/producer/dj Yackle was released today, Wednesday, April 30th.
Taku Takahashi and Yackle also performed collite in the dramatic version of m-flo loves Maya’s “HyperNova” and the anime “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT,” which will start airing in July this year. This work, which was announced jointly, features two guest appearances: Aile The Shota and PORIN, a member of the Awesome City Club and also active as a solo project Pii. It is said that the four of them co-write the story, with the theme of a sequel to “that song,” which many people understand from the sound of the intro. It also incorporates two-step/garage elements, giving it a sense of nostalgia but also a modern sense, creating a work that serves as a bridge between J-POP and Dance Meezic. It also includes an extended mix, which is perfect for DJing.
The release will be from Yackle’s label, 00motion Records.

I’m happy to finally be able to play a song with Yackle, who I’ve always been using.
The process of completing the songs I sketched in the “shiritori style” was also very refreshing!

☆I worked with Taku on many songs last year, including the production of m-flo and pantyhose plays, and was Shota 3-4 years ago? I met him and said, “Let’s write a song together someday!”, and PORIN had been working with me as a manipulator on his solo project “Pii,” but last year I was in the same venue on a certain opportunity and I spoke to him about how I hope that we can create a song with these four of us at the time!

The long-awaited collaboration! ! I am very happy and happy that Taku-san, Yackle, PORIN-chan and I have been able to make music with the members who are extremely respectful and have the most friendships of my friends! A lot of chemical reactions that only the four of them can do, resulting in an incredibly Reiwa POP dance tune. “Dance,” “Play,” “Love,” and “Conflict,” are all elements that you want to sing now. This is a work full of attention to hearing, with the singing voices of the two, the overlapping lyrics. (Another really happy collaboration…)

IMASARA, which was a light-hearted collaboration for me, was a very refreshing and challenging collaboration.
