Kan Sano releases first premier single “Then” from his new album

Kan Sano released his new single “Sokara” today, Wednesday, April 30th.

This is the first advance single from the new album. If we were to say that the stoic and moving piano instrumental of the ending theme of the recently released “The Movie: Gourmet of the Solitude,” “God’s Melody,” is a song directed by Kan Sano to all the worlds, from past to present to hundreds of years ahead, then “Then” gives us a glimpse of the opposite side, and it feels like it’s being sung physically and straight forward towards the audience in front of us at this moment. It can be said that it interprets and defines the original excitement of pop music with a unique sense of distance between songs and songs aimed at audiences at live performances.

As he himself said, “I think it will be fun as a sequel to “Natsume,” it seems to be one of the most representative songs of the new “Kan Sano style Japanese pop.” The mix and mastering is done by Fujishiro Masato, an engineer at big turtle STUDIOS, who has worked on many Kan Sano works including the album “Tokyo State Of Mind.” It is said that the delicate intentions of the song were expressed in every detail.

[Kan Sano’s comments]

We are currently working on the next album, but we have created a song that is lively and will be releasing it.
The title is “And then.”
The lively rhythm and words made it a fun song.
This is the most comfortable pop song for me, as it is coexisting with ease of understanding and lack of understanding.
I think it can also be enjoyed as a sequel to “Natsume.” I want to give a glow and moisture to everyday life that tends to dry out.
I think there is still more to do with music.
Please use this as a daily companion!
