Manaka will release her first EP, “Pretty Machine Gun” today, Wednesday, April 30th. The music video for the song “lol feat. Lilniina” has also been released.
Since 2024, Manaka has released three singles in a row, attracting attention for her unique musicality, lyrics that resonate with her natural presence. This work is packed with pop sounds that gently snuggle between electronic, alternative and rap, while freely moving back and forth into everyday life.
The collection includes seven songs that shine through Manaka’s wide range of charm, including the single “Tapping” produced by Xansei, released last year, “Bad+Sad Boi” which lightly sings ambivalent emotions, and “lol” which depicts innocent playfulness and emotional moments along with artist Lilniina, who has gained high support from youth.
The music video for “lol feat. Lilniina” is Yaona Sui in charge of art direction following his previous film “Agari.” The video is pop and colorful, and is packed with Manaka’s cute and new charms.
Manaka will be held in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture on Friday, May 23rd, Saturday, May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th.“Forests, Roads, Markets 2025”He has also been confirmed to appear in the film.
