Dos Monos has released a teaser movie for his new EP “Dos Moons,” which will be released on Wednesday, May 7th.
The video is produced by Yoda Nobutaka, director of animation for the opening of the TV anime Doraemon, Ohtaki Eiichi’s “Kimi wa Naoki” music video, and asano Naoyuki, an animator who also worked on character designs for “Don’t Get Together with Eigaken!”, “Urusei Yatsura” and “Osomatsu-san,” as well as music video for Hoshino Gen’s “Why Bad in Hell?”
A statement by member Zhuangzi’s EP “Dos Moons” was also released.

Often, it is only when a person realizes that he is restrained that he will crave “freedom” which he has previously assumed was normal, like water or air.
However, the “freedom punishment” that Sartre mentioned is in the exact opposite of the general “freedom punishment,” and we are actually forced to be free. It’s a Copernican idea.
The film “Angel of Killing” is a satire that prevents people from leaving their room despite their will, but although it is of a different level, the behavior of real people remains unchanged, and it seems easy and difficult to step outside. It’s a Columbusian idea.
Moreover, for some reason, it seems that the “freedom sentence” is not a life sentence, and if you become someone, you will be released and you will be sentenced again and again. In the end, it is impossible to tell which is “free” – inside or outside the prison.
On the 15th night, he escaped from control.
At about 25, I escaped from freedom.
The 35-year-old problem is soon to lose what you should escape from.
The ultimate freedom may be “being inside and outside the prison at the same time.” David Lynch presented such an unrealistic way of being by creating works such as Lost Highway.
And such a way of freedom will never be fixed in one method or answer. So people keep making something.
“Music Letting Free” is the title of the autobiography of Sakamoto Ryuichi, also known as the Cosmic Brother of Flying Lotus, but it brilliantly illustrates that “freedom” is not fixed as a noun, but can only be the verb “to free.” I started making hip-hop beats by listening to Flying Lotus beats, and as the cosmic nephew of Dragon Sakamoto since the end of the Edo period, I was able to freely use music. First, the Dos Monos friends, then the world. The two of them rapping on my tracks are truly free. Inspired by this, I also rap as freely as possible.
The four songs are titled “Gilda” and the character name of Rita Hayworth’s rise, who was exposed to the destructive impulses of men and the short-circumference of sexual libido, “Pearl,” a character whose very struggle to become someone gives off a strange charm, “Miss Atomic Bomb,” a masterpiece song that The Killers quietly erased from the set list during their visit to Japan, but “Lee Merlin,” a beauty pageant queen who no longer speaks of her proper name even during the Babenheimer’s blazing fires, and “Oz,” a man who is actually nothing but the magical powers of these women. The Deluxe version is also being planned in search of infinite freedom that is still not yet complete.
The sound will be released (= released) for the time being next week on May 7th, but I hope that he will come and be held captive at Shibuya O-East’s solo live show on May 9th.
This is because, in the true sense, the only thing to temporarily restrain oneself at his own will is to “become free.”

“Dos Moons” is the first new work in a year, and has been a hot topic for being featured in cover art by Ito Junji, a master of the horror manga world. In the past, Dos Monos, a huge fan of Ito manga, made a request from the author directly, and this collaboration was realized. Based on the inspiration he received from the cover art, he created the songs for this work from scratch.
The film will also be holding its first domestic tour touring Tokyo, Sapporo and Osaka. The Tokyo performance will be a solo live performance, with TV Tairiku Ondo in Sapporo and Otokoke Beba in Osaka performance.
