Rapper NEI has released “No Brake,” a co-composer of MONO NO AWARE’s Tamaki Shuei and Kato Seijun, with the acoustic unit MIZ, today, Friday, May 2nd.
This song is a harmonious combination of MIZ’s idyllic arpeggio guitar, sophisticated and beautiful vocal/chorus work, and gentle yet core NEI rap, which emphasizes songwriting. Mix/mastering is done by Okuda Yasuji, and artwork is done by photographer Takeshi Chiba.
The music video was directed by the first direction of the same hometown BMX rider/video director Ryusei Teshigahara and NEI.
