Awich launches English learning project targeting young people in Okinawa

In order to solve one of the social issues in Okinawa, where Awich is from, the problem of child poverty and the disparity in children’s experiences, we collaborated with HelloWorld Co., Ltd., which develops international exchange projects that lead to multicultural coexistence, to raise 1 high school in Okinawa Prefecture. We have launched the “Know The World -Awich Global Education Project-” (Study Abroad in Atlanta & Study Abroad in the City), which provides free English learning opportunities for students aged 22 to 22 years old.

Awich’s desire to contribute to solving educational issues in Okinawa led to this project, which was launched as an opportunity for young Okinawans to meet the world and carve out a path for themselves in life. We will provide homestay programs for foreigners residing in Okinawa, “Machinaka Study Abroad” and “Atlanta Study Abroad,” free of charge to families in Okinawa who are living in poverty. In operation, we collaborate with HelloWorld Co., Ltd., which develops international exchange projects that lead to multicultural coexistence in Okinawa and domestically and abroad. The aim is to foster a spirit of “turning adversity into strength” through studying abroad and international exchange experiences, as well as opportunities to think about one’s own life.

An online information session will be held on April 23rd (Tuesday) for those who meet the application requirements. It will include a message from Awich himself, the process of actually applying for the project, and details of the target audience. For details such as application conditions and period,Official siteCheck more.

[Awich comment]

This project was launched under the concept of “turning the adversity you find yourself in into your strength.”
I believe that the environment of my hometown, Okinawa, is truly complex and a place where various cultures, different ways of thinking, and values are mixed together.
The phrase “Know the World” not only means “knowing the world,” but also includes “knowing how you feel after knowing the world.”
How do you feel through communicating with people who speak different languages and have different backgrounds?I hope that by understanding, communicating, and expressing your feelings, a cycle will be created that will lead to your own growth. . Always be curious and keep actively learning what you want to learn!
