SIRUP × hard life × Taka Perry collaboration song "RENDEZVOUS" MV released

The music video for SIRUP’s latest single, “RENDEZVOUS feat. hard life,” released on Wednesday, May 7th, has been released.

SIRUP has collaborated with numerous global artists including CODY JON, HYBS, SUMIN, and Zion.T. This is a collaboration that was made possible through an offer from Murray, a vocalist of British band Hard Life (fka. Easy Life). The sound production will be done by Taka Perry, who has worked on all of the new hard life album “onion,” which is scheduled to be released in July. The exquisite lyrics that show off cynical expressions in the sad and emotional language, and the mellow rhythm and flow make this a pleasant, dreamy song of heartbreak.

SIRUP & Murray will appear in the music video. The director was Shiraiwa Shunsuke, who also directed the “UMAMI” by SIRUP, The Crane (Taiwan) and whoosh (Korea). The story follows the two of them, who are struck by the afterglow of a broken heart, as they travel on their bikes, and the memorable depiction of the time and scenery that flows along the way, as well as the floating and loss. Also pay attention to the final scene, which was conceived by SIRUP himself, “the two of them travel along the cycling journey beyond time and space and reach the universe.”

With the three of them, Hard Life, Taka Perry, and SIRUP, who are also friends in their private lives, together, the filming set was said to have constant smiles throughout the filming. There was also a scene where hard life sang SIRUP’s verse in Japanese, which said to be intensively studying, and the filming was performed in a positive atmosphere, with a chill and similar to the world of the music video. In addition, making-of footage (Behind The Scene) showing the filming site will also be released on social media from time to time.

SIRUP is also planning to hold its first nationwide tour, “NEXT LIFE TOUR 2025,” starting in June, for the first time in about two years. The tour will tour eight cities across the country, starting with Nagoya on Sunday, June 1st, and until the Tokyo Finals on Friday, July 18th. The tour will be a challenging event, with unreleased songs scheduled to be released in the future.
