Yudai Bando’s anime “Kaiju No. 8” soundtrack released (sic)boy, Kazuki Arai, Shun Ishiwaka and others participate

Yudai Bando’s original soundtrack for the anime “Kaiju No. 8” will be released on Wednesday, June 26th.

“Kaiju No. 8” is a very popular comic by Naoya Matsumoto that has gained support both domestically and internationally. It has been made into an anime by Production IG (animation production) and Studio Color (Kaiju Design & Works), and has been broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels since April.

The music for “Kaiju No. 8” is composed by Yudai Bando, who works as a contemporary classical composer while also expanding his field of activity to include arranging top J-POP scenes. All episodes were composed using film scoring, and each song was carefully crafted. Immediately after the first episode aired, Bando’s music received high praise, and many people requested a soundtrack release.

The fourth part of the soundtrack has already been released in advance, and includes the “Kaiju No. 8 Theme” and “Defense Forces Theme” which are symbolically played in the movie, and “Kojiro Sasaki” as the project name THE KAIJU BAND. “Kaiju Rock” in which Takayuki (Gt.), King Gnu Kazuki Arai (Bas.), Shun Ishiwaka (Dr.) participated, “Kikoru no Theme” co-written with producer MON/KU, Bando’s orchestra A collection of songs and artists that transcend genres, including “Sagamihara Subjugation Operation,” which condenses the ensemble power of Ensemble FOVE, and “Scream,” the song from the 5th episode featuring (sic)boy. He is creating the musical world of the anime “Kaiju No. 8”.

A total of 65 songs are planned to be included, including additional recordings for the soundtrack and all newly mixed music works. It covers songs that will be key to future episodes, and is likely to attract attention not only from fans of the anime “Kaiju No. 8” but also from a wide range of music fans.
