sysmo releases his first collaboration with Cwondo, “The Car”

Electro pop unit sysmo has released their collaboration single “The Car” with Cwondo today, Wednesday, May 21st.

Sysmo, which was formed in 2024, is a trio consisting of Keiga Dan, Naoya Kodama and Takahiro Yoshioka. Last year he appeared in “dokokoko” by JUMADIBA, Peterparker69, and lil soft tennis, and “NEO GRAND” rave party in Shibuya WWW, Tokyo. It also attracted attention with its first EP, “BYE-BYE KARAOKI!”, which was released in February this year.

This is sysmo’s first collaboration with Cwondo (No Buses), an artist who also interprets electro-essence in an ambiguous way. While maintaining the style of sysmo’s signature electropop to electronica texture, it is possible to freely inflate the electropop and electronica texture, but it also connects stateless sounds such as beats that emphasize shuffle, Latin rhythmic work, and bossa Nova chord work. With the addition of Cwondo’s guitar and singing, the song gives the impression of the gentle early summer breeze and sunlight.

The mixing and mastering is handled by sysmo member Naoya Kodama.
